Copernicus Technology awarded Visual Recognition training contract for RAF P-8A Maritime Patrol Aircraft
Copernicus Technology has been awarded an MOD contract to provide Visual Recognition Learning Packages for RAF P-8A Poseidon Maritime Patrol Aircraft (MPA) Aircrew.
The Syllabus covers a wide range of surface, submarine and airborne units that crews are likely to encounter and be required to accurately identify whilst on maritime training and operations.
Roo Hornby, the Copernicus Technology MPA Division Director said: “We are delighted to be able to support the RAF on this essential skillset for successful Maritime Patrol operations and are proud to have won the first RAF P-8A aircrew training contract awarded outside of the Foreign Military Sale deliveries from the US Navy.”
